About The Daily Pilcrow
A cleaner front page for PC gaming news.
The Daily Pilcrow is an independent PC gaming news aggregator. It watches trusted publisher feeds, official game news pages, and reviewed PC-focused outlets, then organizes source-linked stories by genre, game, and topic so readers can quickly find what changed without losing the original source.
How sources are curated
Sources are added manually and reviewed for PC relevance, English-language coverage, feed quality, image behavior, and spam risk. The site prefers RSS, Atom, official APIs, and reviewed adapters over scraping. Console-only, non-English, finance filler, puzzle filler, and low-signal posts are filtered out.
How updates are fetched
The ingestion worker stores metadata only: title, URL, source, published date, short source-provided excerpt, tags, and reviewed thumbnail metadata. Articles always link to the original publisher, and full article bodies are not copied.
Why stories are clustered
Multiple outlets often cover the same update. The Daily Pilcrow groups related coverage into one card when the story, game, and subject match, then keeps the individual source links available for comparison.
